Software for tennis clubs and academies
Run the club and the academy from one place.
Contakt Academy keeps memberships, court bookings, lesson sign-ups and payments in one system. The office, the coaches and the families each get their own view of the same club — on the web, and in a native app.
A 45-minute demo, at your club or online.
Running a tennis club in Amsterdam today.
The problem
Most clubs run on four or five separate tools.
A booking system, a spreadsheet for lessons, a chat app for parents, something for invoices. None of them talk to each other, so the job of joining them up lands on whoever is at the desk.
– Now
Nothing is in one place
Court bookings in one app, members in a spreadsheet, the lesson schedule in a chat group. When a parent calls with a question, you check three places to answer it.
✓ With Contakt
It's one database
Bookings, members, lessons and payments sit together, so the person at the desk answers the question in one screen.
– Now
Lessons run on chat and memory
Groups tracked in a spreadsheet, changes announced across a few WhatsApp groups, and every sign-up typed in by hand.
✓ With Contakt
Sign-ups handle themselves
Parents enroll online. Waitlists, level placement and the price for joining mid-season are worked out by the system.
– Now
Payments are a monthly chase
Invoices sent by hand, reminders sent by hand, refunds worked out on a calculator. Something is always still outstanding.
✓ With Contakt
People pay when they book
Members pay by iDEAL, card or direct debit into your club's own account. Refunds and credits are part of the same flow.
– Now
Small frictions add up
A slow reply here, an awkward booking there. On their own they're nothing; over a season they're the reason a family doesn't come back.
✓ With Contakt
Members run their own membership
They book a court, manage the family and follow a child's progress in the app. You hear from them less, because there's less they need to ask.
What it covers
The whole club, one login.
Enrollment & programs
Lessons, multi-week programs and camps with online sign-up, waitlists and level placement. Join mid-series and the price prorates automatically.
Memberships & families
Memberships per person or per household, with family plans and automatic renewals. One account for the whole family.
Court booking
Members book within your rules; staff block courts for lessons, maintenance or events. All in the same calendar.
Payments, your account
Members pay with the methods they already use — iDEAL, cards, direct debit — straight into your own account. No commission on your bookings; refunds and credits built in.
Coach workspace
Coaches see their schedule and hours, take attendance after the lesson and reach parents from one inbox — not three chat groups.
Levels & progression
Every player on a level, tracked automatically and followed live by parents. Coaches get reminders to keep levels current, and enrollments stay at the right level.
Court booking
Court booking that lives with the rest of the club.
A court grid members are happy to use, in the same system that already knows their membership and takes the payment.
- Members book their own courts within the rules you set, add a partner, and see what's free for the week.
- The office blocks courts for lessons, leagues, maintenance or events, and the grid keeps a booking from landing on top of them.
- The booking money goes to your account. There's no per-booking commission, and the members stay your members.
Native iOS
A native iOS app for everyone at the club.
Members, coaches and staff each get the part of the app built for their role. It's written natively in Swift, so it behaves like an app rather than a website in a shell.

- Members and parents book courts, sign up for lessons and follow their kids' progress.
- Coaches see their schedule and billable hours, take attendance and reply to parents — from the court.
- Staff keep the overview and clear requests, even away from the desk.
Three people, one club
Built for the office, the coach and the parent.
The office runs the week, the coach runs their court, the parent keeps up with their kid. They're looking at the same club from three different chairs, so each one gets a screen made for their job. Here's how a few of the everyday things actually work.
Attendance
Taking attendance
The coach marks the register on their phone at the start of a lesson. It takes about ten seconds. Everything they tap builds the picture the office sees — useful the day a parent asks why their child hasn't moved up.
- The coach taps present, late, absent or excused for each kid, or marks the whole group present at once.
- The office sees the register for every week the class has run, and any correction it makes is logged as an office edit.
- Attendance rates are worked out per child, and a coach who hasn't done a roll call gets a reminder.

Class updates
Telling the parents what happened
After a lesson the coach can leave a short note: what the group worked on, what to practise at home, sometimes a clip. It shows up for the parents of that class and nowhere else, so there's no group email to write and nothing to copy into a chat.

Class chat
A chat for each class
Every class has one thread with its coach and its parents. The coach can pin the kit list, ask who's coming to match-play, and see the replies in one place. It replaces the handful of WhatsApp groups the club never had any visibility into — the office can read the threads too.

The schedule
One schedule the whole club reads from
The office sees the full week across every court. Each coach sees only their own sessions, so they're not scrolling past everyone else's. It's the same schedule underneath, and it can feed straight into the calendar app on their phone.

Levels
Keeping track of where everyone is
You set out your club's levels once. After that, every player sits on one, and the club can see where they are without anyone keeping a separate list.
- A player's level follows them across seasons, and their parents can see it, so you're not fielding "which group is my kid in" every term.
- If someone signs up for a group that doesn't match their level, the system flags it before they end up somewhere too easy or too hard.
- When a child is due a review, the coach gets a prompt, so levels stay current instead of quietly going stale.

Families and kids
The side parents actually see
A parent has one place for their children: their level, their upcoming pickups, the emergency contact, and a say in what the club is allowed to share. This is the part a club can't afford to get wrong, so we spent the time on it.
- Each child sits in a household, with levels, pickups and emergency contacts kept together rather than scattered.
- Photos and progress-sharing stay off for a child until the parent turns them on, and that decision is recorded.
- Children's data is handled carefully and kept in the EU. We can show you exactly how.
The boring, important parts
Money, privacy, and your data.
Your own payments
Members pay with the methods they know — iDEAL, cards, direct debit — into your club's own account. No commission on your bookings, and we're never in the middle.
Serious about privacy
A data-processing agreement as standard, per-child consent for photos and progress, and kids' data handled carefully and auditably.
Your data, always yours
Your data stays in the EU and stays yours — exportable in open formats, any time. No lock-in.
Moving over
Getting your data across is on us.
You don't pause anything or retype your member list. This is roughly how it goes:
A 45-minute demo
At your club or online. We bring the app, you bring the questions.
We migrate everything
Members, enrollments and history from your current tools — included in onboarding.
Live in a weekend
You go live over a weekend, and we're right beside you until it's running.
We're onboarding a small number of founding clubs.
Migration from your current tools included, and terms that grow with your club. Want to see if it fits first? Book a demo.
Book a demoQuestions we get
The things clubs ask first.
How does data migration work?
We migrate your members, enrollments and history from your current tools — that's our job, not yours. You go live over a weekend and we're beside you until it's running.
Do we have to drop our current systems right away?
No. Contakt Academy runs fine alongside your existing booking or federation software. Many clubs start with lessons and programs and replace the rest step by step.
How does support work?
Short lines: one point of contact, and your questions are answered by the people who build the system — not a ticket queue.
What if you disappear?
A contractual continuity commitment: your data is always exportable in open formats, and the agreement covers hand-over of the system.
How do you handle children's data?
Carefully and auditably: a data-processing agreement as standard, data kept in the EU, and per-child consent for photos and progress — recorded in the system itself.
